Online Yarn Trading System

Abstract:

Technology has changed the landscape of the stock markets. The look of the stock
exchanges has undergone metamorphic changes in the recent years. Prior to online trading,
regional stock exchange was playing a very important role in capital markets, as they were local
investors. Traders developing this own screen based trading and connecting to other scrips
which were not available with them. This also helped in accessing the quotes and other market
information from other stock exchange which proved vital in the functioning of the system as a
whole. In this project the yarn trading system is developed in order to enhance the traders
business.

The internets arrival and its subsequent popularity in India have made online trading in
India, which is about the online purchase and sales of shares, one of the extremely popular means
of trading. Both beginner and experienced traders and investors in India are milking this
opportunity by trading online in futures and options, stocks and currencies worldwide. Such
opportunities are in the form of reduced brokerage and commissions, better broking services etc.
Constructive uses of new technologies have always contributed positively towards improving
human life standards and the economy of a country .Such as online trading, in equity markets it
increased trade volumes and number of investors trading in stock markets.

Online trading was started in India in the year 1995, where a new system is formed
which allows the in vestor to trade through an internet site where the major financial products
and services like equities, mutual funds, life insurance, general insurance, loans, share trading,
commodities trading, portfolio management and financial planning etc. are directly available for
the customer. There is also stock option trading in India.

Introduction:

An option is a financial agreement, with a predetermined maturity period and price, for
the purchase or sales of the underlying products. Stock options enable the protection of dealers
and control of their stocks, in addition to generation of higher earnings. For carrying out online
trading in India, you have to open an online demat and trading account, followed with online
trading software. For this purpose, you would require a Depository Participant (DP), selection of
which should be preceded by extensive research on various determinants. This is time consuming
and inefficient.

This imposed limits on trading volumes and efficiency. In order to provide efficiency,
liquidity, and transparency NSE and BSE introduced nationwide online fully automated
SCREEN BASED TRADING SYSTEM. Online trading in India is the internet based
investment activity that involves no direct involvement of the broker. There are many leading
online trading portals in India along with the online trading platforms of the biggest stock houses
like the National stock exchange and the Bombay stock exchange.

The National system provides single, nation wide Securities. It enables investors in one
part of the country to trade at the best quotes with an investors located in any other part of the
country through the members of the stock exchanges and subsequently clears and settles the
trade in an efficient and cost effective manner.

The primary objective of the stock market is to provide clear opportunity to the investors
throughout the country to trade any securities irrespective of the size of the order or the broker
through whom the order is routed. This provides the facility to execute the buy out any extra cost
to the investors.

There will be no trading floor in the exchanges. Instead, each trading member will have a
computer at his own office any where in India which will be connected to the central computer
system at the NSE through leased lines or VSATs (Very Small Aperture Terminal), for an
interim transition period of six months and subsequently by satellite link.
VSATs are relatively smaller dishes similar to dish antenna for cable T.V and have the
benefit of not being very expensive. A satellite network makes it possible to connect almost all the
parts of the nation quickly as it is easy to install, as against the ground lines Such as dial up
modems leased lines which are prone to disruptions, satellite links on other hands ensure high
speed, availability and quality of the connection. This code of trading is known as On-line
Trading.
Yarn trading is one of the oldest and widely used business services in any country. It is
the final business service or component in the channels of distribution which links the suppliers or
the manufacturers with the ultimate consumers. The retailers play their basic roles in different
ways. They make a trade off of expectations between the suppliers or and the manufacturers and
the consumers through buying and selling of consumer products (goods and services) There could
be no mass production without the retailers to make the goods and services conveniently available
to millions of customers Yarn trade makes it easier for us to buy consumer products Without
retailers, we would be forced to go from manufacture to manufacturer or from supplier to supplier
to purchase goods that we
ly, mechanisation or technological issues, the process of isolation

So, briefly the main assumption is that the rapid development of retail trade in an economy is the
result of interactions of the whole economy and not just the effect of factors operating in the
segment of retail trade

Existing System:

Existing trading system is a time taken process in which all the details will be maintained
manually. While on line trading gives you speed and price advantage, there is some risk and
disadvantage to entering orders on-line. The page alerts you to any pitfalls you should watch out
for if you want to use the internet to trade stocks. If you do commit to trading online, you must
be careful when you enter stock orders. In prior approach it is easy to make mistakes.

Disadvantages:

Lack of ability to develop markets for debt.

Lack of infrastructure facilities and outdated trading system.
Lack of transparency in the operations that affect investors confidence.
Outdated settlement system that are inadequate to cater to the growing volume, leading to
delays.
Lack of single market due to the inability of various stock exchanges to function
cohesively with

Proposed System:

The proposed yarn trading system provides a new approach for the traders. The traders will
be maintained clearly. The payment and order details also clearly maintained. The trading
system developed based online management system which is easy for the traders. The
buyer and traders both will get benefits on this system.

Advantages:

It will help in reducing transaction costs particularly for overseas and remote located
investors.
It will provide real time quotes and on-line trading facility at a much cheaper cost.
Facility of transaction business from the terminal of the investors and will help him making
rational judgment or decisions.
It will bring down the brokerages fees and increases the trading volumes.
Quick response in transaction i.e. giving the order verification and acknowledgement.
It allows transparent companies of services and easy price discovery.
It is easy enough to set up either as individual account for margins trading or settle
transactions by credit card.

SYSTEM ANALYSIS

DEFINATION

System Analysis is the detailed study of the various operations performed by the system
and their relationships within and outside the system. Analysis is the process of breaking
something into its parts so that the whole may be understood. System analysis is concerned with
becoming aware of the problem, identifying the relevant and most decisional variables, analyzing
and synthesizing the various factors and determining an optimal or at least a satisfactory
solution. During this a problem is identified, alternate system solutions are studied and
recommendations are made about committing the resources used to design the system.

DESCRIPTION OF PRESENT SYSTEM

Existing system refers to the system that is being followed till now. Presently all the
registrations are done manually. If a person wants to buy computer and accessories, domestic
used things, mobile and accessories and many different goods etc., he should directly contact to
the various websites such as flip kart, Naaptol, Snap deal etc. which provides the online trading
facilities. The main disadvantage is that there will be lot of difficulties for the citizens. So, all
these procedures will be a time consuming one.

FEASIBILITY STUDY

A feasibility analysis usually involves a thorough assessment of the operational (need),

financial and technical aspects of a proposal. Feasibility study is the test of the system proposal
made to identify whether the user needs may be satisfied using the current software and
hardware technologies, whether the system will be cost effective from a business point of view
and whether it can be developed with the given budgetary constraints. A feasibility study should
be relatively cheap and done at the earliest possible time. Depending on the study, the decision is
made whether to go ahead with a more detailed analysis. When a new project is proposed, it
normally goes through feasibility assessment. Feasibility study is carried out to determine
whether the proposed system is possible to develop with available resources and what should be
the cost consideration. Facts considered in the feasibility analysis were

Technical Feasibility
Economic Feasibility
Behavioral Feasibility
Technical Feasibility
Technical Feasibility deals with the hardware as well as software requirements.
Technology is not a constraint to type system development. We have to find out whether the
necessary technology, the proposed equipment have the capacity to hold the data, which is used
in the project, should be checked to carry out this technical feasibility.

Economic Feasibility

This feasibility study present tangible and intangible benefits from the prefect by
comparing the development and operational cost. The technique of cost benefit analysis is often
used as a basis for assessing economic feasibility. This system needs some more initial
investment than the existing system, but it can be justifiable that it will improve quality of
service. Thus feasibility study should center along the following points:

Improvement resulting over the existing method in terms of accuracy, timeliness.

Cost comparison
Estimate on the life expectancy of the hardware
Overall objective our project is economically feasible. It does not require much
cost to be involved in the overall process. The overall objectives are in easing out
the requirement processes.

Behavioral/ Operational Feasibility

This analysis involves how it will work when it is installed and the assessment of
political and managerial environment in which it is implemented. People are inherently resistant
to change and computers have been known to facilitate change. The new proposed system is very
much useful to the useful to the users and there for it will accept broad audience from around the
world.

SYSTEM DESIGN

DEFINATION

The most creative and challenging face of the system development is System Design. It
provides the understanding and procedural details necessary for implementing the system
recommended in the feasibility study. Design goes through the logical and physical stages of
development. In designing a new system, the system analyst must have a clear understanding of
the objectives, which the design is aiming to fulfill. The first step is to determine how the output
is to be produced and in what format.

Second, input data and master files have to be designed to meet the requirements of the
proposed output. The operational phases are handled through program construction and testing.
Design of a system can be defined as a process of applying various techniques and principles for
the purpose of defining a device, a process or a system in sufficient detail to permit its physical
realization. Thus system design is a solution to how to approach to the creation of a new
system. Thus important phase provides the understanding and the procedural details necessary
for implementing the system recommended in the feasibility study. The design step provides a
data design, architectural design, and a procedural design.

OUTPUT DESIGN

In the output design, the emphasis is on producing a hard copy of the information
requested or displaying the output on the CRT screen in a predetermined format. Two of the most
output media today are printers and the screen. Most users now access their reports from a hard
copy or screen display. Computers output is the most important and direct source of information
to the user, efficient, logical, output design should improve the systems relations with the user
and help in decision-making.

Online Trading As the outputs are the most important source of information to the user,
better design should improve the systems relation and also should help in decision-making. The
output devices capability, print capability, print capability, response time requirements etc.
should also be considered form design elaborates the way output is presented and layout
available for capturing information. Its very helpful to produce the clear, accurate and speedy
information for end users.

INPUT DESIGN

In the input design, user-oriented inputs are converted into a computer based system
format. It also includes determining the record media, method of input, speed of capture and
entry on to the screen. Online data entry accepts commands and data through a keyboard. The
major approach to input design is the menu and the prompt design. In each alternative, the users
options are predefined. The data flow diagram indicates logical data flow, data stores, source and
destination. Input data are collected and organized into a group of similar data. Once identified
input media are selected for processing. In this software, importance is given to develop
Graphical User Interface (GUI), which is an important factor in developing efficient and user-
friendly software. For inputting user data, attractive forms are designed.

User can also select desired options from the menu, which provides all possible facilities.
Also the important input format is designed in such a way that accidental errors area voided. The
user has to input only just the minimum data required, which also helps in avoiding the errors
that the users may make. Accurate designing of the input format is very important in developing
efficient software. The goal or input design is to make entry as easy, logical and free from errors.

LOGICAL DESIGN

Logical data design is about the logically implied data. Each and every data in the form
can be designed in such a manner to understand the meaning. Logical data designing should give
a clear understanding and idea about the related data used to construct a form.

System Development:
Description of Module:

In the yarn trading system several modules are available. Initially admin login module,
admin page, customer registration, customer Login, product list page , contact us page and about
us page.

Admin Login Module:

In the yarn trading system the admin is the super user. The admin login into the system
and can check the available vendors details and can add more sellers into their sites. The admin
login with the registered detail and can do the above mentioned jobs.

Customer registration and Login

The customer is the secondary user of the yarn trading system. The customer initially fills
their required detail in order to register into the system. Then the registered customer can login
into the system and can view the products that they are interested to buy.

Product List module:

The product list module list of available stock to the customer that are updated by the
admin. The product is shown based on the seller updated stocks.

Contact module:

This module can be used by the buyers and seller. Both buyers and sellers can utilize this
page to send their enquiry about the product. The whole sale seller and buyer can send the
comments through this page to the admin. Then the admin can view their request and provides

NetBeans

NetBeans is a software development platform written in Java. The NetBeans Platform

allows applications to be developed from a set of modular software components called modules.
Applications based on the NetBeans Platform, including the NetBeans integrated development
environment (IDE), can be extended by third party developers.

The NetBeans IDE is primarily intended for development in Java, but also supports other
languages, in particular PHP, C/C++ and HTML5.
NetBeans is cross-platform and runs on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS
X, Linux, Solaris and other platforms supporting a compatible JVM. The NetBeans Team
actively supports the product and seek feature suggestions from the wider community. Every
release is preceded by a time for Community testing and feedback.

NetBeans platform

The NetBeans Platform is a framework for simplifying the development of Java

Swing desktop applications. The NetBeans IDE bundle for Java SE contains what is needed to
start developing NetBeans plugins and NetBeans Platform based applications; no additional SDK
is required.

Applications can install modules dynamically. Any application can include the Update
Center module to allow users of the application to download digitally signed upgrades and new
features directly into the running application. Reinstalling an upgrade or a new release does not
force users to download the entire application again.

The platform offers reusable services common to desktop applications, allowing

developers to focus on the logic specific to their application. Among the features of the platform
are:

User interface management (e.g. menus and toolbars)

User settings management

Storage management (saving and loading any kind of data)

Window management

Wizard framework (supports step-by-step dialogs)

NetBeans Visual Library

Integrated development tools

A showcase of applications developed on top of NetBeans Platform is available
at https://netbeans.org/features/platform/showcase.html

NetBeans IDE

NetBeans IDE is an open-source integrated development environment. NetBeans IDE

supports development of all Java application types (Java SE (including JavaFX), Java
ME, web, EJB and mobile applications) out of the box.

Among other features are an Ant-based project

system, Maven support, refactorings, version
control (supporting CVS, Subversion, Git, Mercurial and Clearcase).

Modularity: All the functions of the IDE are provided by modules. Each module
provides a well-defined function, such as support for the Java language, editing, or support for
the CVS versioning system, and SVN. NetBeans contains all the modules needed for Java
development in a single download, allowing the user to start working immediately. Modules also
allow NetBeans to be extended. New features, such as support for other programming languages,
can be added by installing additional modules. For instance, Sun Studio, Sun Java Studio
Enterprise, and Sun Java Studio Creator from Sun Microsystems are all based on the NetBeans
IDE.

License: From July 2006 through 2007, NetBeans IDE was licensed under
Sun's Common Development and Distribution License (CDDL), a license based on the Mozilla
Public License (MPL). In October 2007, Sun announced that NetBeans would henceforth be
offered under a dual license of the CDDL and the GPL version 2 licenses, with the GPL linking
exception for GNU Classpath.

Integrated Modules

These modules are part of the NetBeans IDE.

NetBeans Profiler

The NetBeans Profiler is a tool for the monitoring of Java applications: It helps
developers find memory leaks and optimize speed. Formerly downloaded separately, it is
integrated into the core IDE since version 6.0.

The Profiler is based on a Sun Laboratories research project that was named JFluid. That
research uncovered specific techniques that can be used to lower the overhead of profiling a Java
application. One of those techniques is dynamic byte code instrumentation, which is particularly
useful for profiling large Java applications. Using dynamic byte code instrumentation and
additional algorithms, the NetBeans Profiler is able to obtain runtime information on applications
that are too large or complex for other profilers. NetBeans also support Profiling Points that let
you profile precise points of execution and measure execution time.

GUI design tool

Formerly known as project Matisse, the GUI design-tool enables developers to prototype and
design Swing GUIs by dragging and positioning GUI components.

The GUI builder has built-in support for JSR 295 (Beans Binding technology), but the support
for JSR 296 (Swing Application Framework) was removed in 7.1.

NetBeans JavaScript editor

The NetBeans JavaScript editor provides extended support for JavaScript, Ajax, and CSS.
JavaScript editor features comprise syntax highlighting, refactoring, code completion for native
objects and functions, generation of JavaScript class skeletons, generation
of Ajax callbacks from a template; and automatic browser compatibility checks. CSS editor
features comprise code completion for styles names, quick navigation through the navigator
panel, displaying the CSS rule declaration in a List View and file structure in a Tree View,
sorting the outline view by name, type or declaration order (List & Tree), creating rule
declarations (Tree only), refactoring a part of a rule name (Tree only). The NetBeans 7.4 and
later uses the new [Nashorn] JavaScript engine developed by Oracle.
NetBeans IDE Bundle for PHP

NetBeans supports PHP since version 6.5. The bundle for PHP includes:

syntax highlighting, code completion, occurrence highlighting, error highlighting, CVS

version control

semantic analysis with highlighting of parameters and unused local variables

PHP code debugging with xdebug

PHP Unit testing with PHP Unit and Selenium

Code coverage

Symfony framework support

Zend Framework support

Yii Framework support

PHP 5.3 namespace and closure support

Code Folding for Control Structures.

PHP:

PHP is a server-side scripting language designed primarily for web development but also
used as a general-purpose programming language. Originally created by Rasmus Lerdorf in
1994, the PHP reference implementation is now produced by The PHP Development Team. PHP
originally stood for Personal Home Page, but it now stands for the recursive acronym PHP:
Hypertext Preprocessor.

PHP code may be embedded into HTML or HTML5 code, or it can be used in
combination with various web template systems, web content management systems and web
frameworks. PHP code is usually processed by a PHP interpreter implemented as a module in the
web server or as a Common Gateway Interface (CGI) executable. The web server combines the
results of the interpreted and executed PHP code, which may be any type of data, including
images, with the generated web page. PHP code may also be executed with a command-line
interface (CLI) and can be used to implement standalone graphical applications.

The standard PHP interpreter, powered by the Zend Engine, is free software released
under the PHP License. PHP has been widely ported and can be deployed on most web servers
on almost every operating system and platform, free of charge.

The PHP language evolved without a written formal specification or standard until 2014,
leaving the canonical PHP interpreter as a de facto standard. Since 2014 work has gone on to
create a formal PHP specification.

PHP 5

On July 13, 2004, PHP 5 was released, powered by the new Zend Engine II. PHP 5
included new features such as improved support for object-oriented programming, the PHP Data
Objects (PDO) extension (which defines a lightweight and consistent interface for accessing
databases), and numerous performance enhancements. In 2008 PHP 5 became the only stable
version under development. Late static binding had been missing from PHP and was added in
version 5.3.

Many high-profile open-source projects ceased to support PHP 4 in new code as of

February 5, 2008, because of the GoPHP5 initiative, provided by a consortium of PHP
developers promoting the transition from PHP 4 to PHP 5.

Over time, PHP interpreters became available on most existing 32-bit and 64-
bit operating systems, either by building them from the PHP source code, or by using pre-built
binaries. For the PHP versions 5.3 and 5.4, the only available Microsoft Windows binary
distributions were 32-bit x86 builds, requiring Windows 32-bit compatibility mode while
using Internet Information Services (IIS) on a 64-bit Windows platform. PHP version 5.5 made
the 64-bit x86-64 builds available for Microsoft Windows.

XAMPP
Xampp free and open source cross-platform web server solution stack package developed
by Apache Friends,[ consisting mainly of the Apache HTTP Server, MariaDB database,
and interpreters for scripts written in the PHP and Perl programming languages. XAMPP stands
for Cross-Platform (X), Apache (A), MariaDB (M), PHP (P) and Perl (P). It is a simple,
lightweight Apache distribution that makes it extremely easy for developers to create a local web
server for testing and deployment purposes. Everything needed to set up a web server server
application (Apache), database (MariaDB), and scripting language (PHP) is included in an
extractable file. XAMPP is also cross-platform, which means it works equally well on Linux,
Mac and Windows. Since most actual web server deployments use the same components as
XAMPP, it makes transitioning from a local test server to a live server extremely easy as well.

MySQL was replaced with MariaDB on 2015-10-19 and beginning with XAMPP
versions 5.5.30 and 5.6.14, effectively altering the meaning of the acronym. While both letters P
are de facto interchangeable, convention used at the Apache Friends website indicates that the
first letter P is short for PHP and the latter letter P is short for Perl.

Features

XAMPP is regularly updated to the latest releases of Apache, MariaDB, PHP and Perl. It
also comes with a number of other modules including OpenSSL, phpMyAdmin, MediaWiki,
Joomla, WordPress and more. Self-contained, multiple instances of XAMPP can exist on a single
computer, and any given instance can be copied from one computer to another. XAMPP is
offered in both a full and a standard version.

Usage

Officially, XAMPP's designers intended it for use only as a development tool, to allow
website designers and programmers to test their work on their own computers without any access
to the Internet. To make this as easy as possible, many important security features are disabled by
default. XAMPP has the ability to serve web pages on the World Wide Web. A special tool is
provided to password-protect the most important parts of the package.

XAMPP also provides support for creating and manipulating databases

in MariaDB and SQLite among others.
Once XAMPP is installed, it is possible to treat a localhost like a remote host by
connecting using an FTP client. Using a program like FileZilla has many advantages when
installing a content management system (CMS) like Joomla or WordPress. It is also possible to
connect to localhost via FTP with an HTML editor.

MySQL

MySQL is an open-source relational database management system (RDBMS). Its name

is a combination of "My", the name of co-founder Michael Widenius' daughter, and "SQL", the
abbreviation for Structured Query Language. The MySQL development project has made
its source code available under the terms of the GNU General Public License, as well as under a
variety of proprietary agreements. MySQL was owned and sponsored by a single for-profit firm,
the Swedish company MySQL AB, now owned by Oracle Corporation. For proprietary use,
several paid editions are available, and offer additional functionality.

MySQL is a central component of the LAMP open-source web application software

stack. LAMP is an acronym for "Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl/PHP/Python". Applications that
use the MySQL database include: TYPO3, MODx, Joomla, WordPress, phpBB, MyBB,
and Drupal. MySQL is also used in many high-profile, large-scale websites,
including Google Facebook Twitter, Flickr, and YouTube.

MySQL is written in C and C++. Its SQL parser is written in yacc, but it uses a home-
brewed lexical analyzer. MySQL works on many system platforms, including AIX, BSDi,
FreeBSD, HP-UX, eComStation, i5/OS, IRIX, Linux, macOS, Microsoft Windows, NetBSD,
Novell NetWare, OpenBSD, OpenSolaris, OS/2 Warp, QNX, Oracle Solaris, Symbian, SunOS,
SCO OpenServer, SCO UnixWare, Sanos and Tru64. A port of MySQL to OpenVMS also exists.

The MySQL server software itself and the client libraries use dual-licensing distribution.
They are offered under GPL version 2, beginning from 28 June 2000 (which in 2009 has been
extended with a FLOSS License Exception)or to use a proprietary license.

Graphical user interfaces

A graphical user interface (GUI) is a type of interface that allows users to interact with
electronic devices or programs through graphical icons and visual indicators such as secondary
notation, as opposed to text-based interfaces, typed command labels or text navigation. GUIs are
easier to learn than command-line interfaces (CLIs), which require commands to be typed on the
keyboard.

Third-party proprietary and free graphical administration applications (or "front ends") are
available that integrate with MySQL and enable users to work with database structure and data
visually.

Limitations

When using some storage engines other than the default of InnoDB, MySQL does not
comply with the full SQL standard for some of the implemented functionality, including foreign
key references and check constraints.

Up until MySQL 5.7, triggers are limited to one per action / timing, meaning that at most
one trigger can be defined to be executed after an INSERT operation and one before INSERT on
the same table. No triggers can be defined on views.

MySQL database's inbuilt functions like UNIX_TIMESTAMP () will return 0 after

03:14:07 UTC on 19 January 2038.
