Time Instructional Procedures and Strategies


3 min. Beginning the Lesson

Spread the students into three groups. Teacher will spend 15 minutes on teaching
new knowledge with a group of students. Meanwhile, the next group should review
what they have learned from last lesson. And another group should practice the
conversations.

In todays class, we will do several things:

3. Grammar study

5 min. Review: A game. Listen carefully, I will speak some names of language
in English, and you should repeat them in mandarin. Then you will say

you say (I can speak English), if you can speak English.

Words list: English, Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesian, French, German.

Which months can be called big month (31 days)?
There is a way can help students distinguish these months easily. Make a fist, and then
count the months from index finger to little finger. The knuckles are considered the
big months. The months which are in the space between two knuckles are considered
the small month.
