In this picture I can see two kids playing tennis in a tennis court. In the foreground I can
see the two kids, a boy and a girl, and in the background I can see the court and a hedge.
Both the girl and the boy are holding a racket, and the girl, on the right, is holding a
tennis ball. They are close to the net. The boy, on the left, is wearing a white jumper and
the girl is wearing a white T-shirt. They are both smiling and have dark hair. The rackets
are white and blue.

hablar de ellos. Recuerda, la otra persona no ve la foto, te toca a ti describirla. No puedes decir, de
primeras, algo como: the kid is wearing a cap. The kid?? El nio? Qu nio? Primero debes
presentarlo o mencionarlo: there is a kid on the left of the picture. The kid isEsto es un error que
muchos alumnos cometen, y suena muy poco natural. Be careful with that.

cuando algo no lo vemos del todo claro podemos usar expresiones

de duda, tales como:

It seems / looks like a
Compara el objeto con algo similar
It is like a table (es como una mesa)

It is a kind of table (es una especie de mesa)

It is similar to a table (se parece a una mesa)

Describe la forma, material, etc

It is made of wood, it is rectangular and long, with four legs (est hecho de madera, es

rectangular y largo, con cuatro patas)

Otros materiales seran metal, plastic, paper, steel, stone, cloth, etc.

Menciona el uso del objeto, con la estructura it is used/we use it for +

ing
It is normally used for writing and reading (se usa para escribir y leer)

Al examinador poco le importa si no conoces la palabra, siempre y cuando hables y hables. Esa
