1 CIPA CONCEPT AND OBJECTIVES • 1921 - CIPA AROSE THROUGH A RECOMMENDATION OF THE ILO • 1944 - CIPA BECAME LEG AL IN DETERMINATION IN BRAZIL THROUGH THE DECREE-LAW OF 7036 10/11/1944. • 1978 - 3214 ORDINANCE OF 08/06/1978 REGULATES NR 5 - CIPA • 1999 - 8 OF ORDINANCE 23/ 02/1999 - AMENDING THE NR 5 from 24/05/1999. 2 CIPA CONCEPT AND OBJECTIVES • COMMISSION: A group of people together in charge of dealing in a particular su bject; • INTERNAL: Your playing field is restricted to the company itself; • PRE VENTION: This is what clearly defines the role of CIPA. Internal Commission for Accident Prevention • 5.6 to 5.15 - Organization. • 5.7 - The mandate of the elected members of CIPA , will last one year, allowed one reelection. • Note: Re-election is the subsequ ent election, that is, the employee was elected to the office for the year 2002 and reelected for 2003.
