5:00 30:00 minutes o TW introduce scale clubs, offer to have anyone join a scale
club (up to 3 can try in one lesson)
Intro to Scale Clubs, concert Bb o TW review Concert Bb scale
scale review o TW model on clarinet while students say note names in
rhythm and finger along
o TW award stars to students who correctly identify key
signature, fingerings, etc.

o SW attempt to pass off #46, 48, 51, 53
Red Book Exercises o SW play as group following pass-off attempts (will not re-
teach, was assigned as HW previous week)
o SW attempt to pass off #56, 62, 63 (NEW)
o TW teach #56 and review slur concept
o TW review difference between slur and tie
o TW model slur v/s tonguing on clarinet, SW aurally identify
one versus the other
o SW play #56
o TW review new note in #62, TW check fingerings
individually and hear each student attempt concert Ab (NEW)
