Having IPads in my classroom would align with many aspects of the Missouri
Visual Arts Standards through communicating ideas, exploring digital
software, researching historical and contemporary art of different cultures,
and integrating music, film studies, photography, and many other art forms
into their work. Using specific applications, such as iMovie, students can
layer and organize images with videos, sounds, text, and voiceovers in order
to enhance thinking and create deeper meaning. Improvement can be
measured through a timeline of data containing photo and video evidence of
process and product.
