The following report will review the dates of the circuits made and delivery of
the written report of the workshop to be presented (check that workshops should
submit information given on the agenda) THE RECOVERY IS INDIVIDUAL, EACH STUDENT
PRESENTS ITS REPORT AND CIRCUIT . Delivery of the circuit and the report writin

AUTOMATIC NIGHT LIGHT
MATERIALS: breadboard, battery 9 V
GOAL: To build a light detector circuit. Learn a practical application of a phot
ocell THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK: What is the role of each of the components to be us
ed which is the symbol of each component, as identified terminals of each? PROCE
DURE: 1. Assemble in the breadboard the circuit shown in the schematic diagram i
n Figure 1. ALWAYS CONNECT TO THE BATTERY END. 2. Make sure the LEDs D1 and D2,
are in the correct polarity, ie the shortest pin coincides with the cathode (C).
3. Make sure the transistor, the polarity is correct. 4. With your hands or any
object, try to obstruct the light falling on the surface of the beam. Observe a
nd describe the behavior of the LEDs. 5. Move the potentiometer shaft until the
circuit can differentiate whether or not there is light. 6. Record your observat
ions and explain.

MOTORCYCLE ELECTRONIC
MATERIALS: breadboard, battery 9 V
GOAL: To build a circuit that produces the particular sound of a motorcycle Stre
ngthen knowledge of the transistor as an oscillator. THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK: What
is the role of each of the components to be used which is the symbol of each co
mponent, as identified terminals of each? PROCEDURE: 1. Assemble in the breadboa
rd the circuit shown in the schematic diagram in Figure 1. ALWAYS CONNECT TO THE
BATTERY END. 2. Connect the battery and hear the sound of the speaker. Move the
potentiometer R3 and listen again the sound of the speaker. 3. Move the potenti
ometer shaft and listen to the variation in the sounds produced. Record what is
observed and explain why it happens.
