EXPERIENCE Currently teaching children grades K-5 under the supervision of Mrs. Maia
Kauffman in East Brunswick. This semester-long experience includes
opportunities to teach and receive feedback from Mrs. Kauffman and my
professors.
2015-present
Volunteer Music Teacher/Researcher at Homefront Family Campus
Planned and taught a 10-week music class to students grades K-8. Research
included preliminary interviews, literature review, curriculum development,
teaching, and reflection. The curriculum included vocal exploration, ukulele,
singing, and movement.

Elementary and Secondary Praxis Experiences 2015-2016


Elementary Practicum experience totaling 50 hours at Wicoff Elementary in West
Windsor. Experience included writing lesson plans, teaching kindergarten through

3rd grade students, and collaborating with colleagues. Secondary practicum


experience totaling 50 hours at Stuart Country Day School in Princeton.
Secondary Practicum included writing lesson plans, observing classes, and
teaching warm-up activities to 5th-8th grade students.

Summit Strings Camp Counselor 2008-2014


Taught children grades 4-6 to play the violin in group and individual settings at a
summer camp in Lees Summit, Missouri. Duties included leading sectionals,
assisting during rehearsals and performances, and organizing the performance
program.

PROFESSIONAL Rehearsal Coordinator with the Princeton GirlChoir 2016-present


DEVELOPMENT Responsibilities included taking attendance, collecting and handing out music,
assisting conductors, and answering parents and students questions.

Volunteer at New Jersey Music Educators Association Conference Feb. 2016

Office Assistant at Westminster Conservatory 2015-present


Duties include assisting guests with lesson and class registration, processing
payments, and directing families to their lesson locations.
Chinese Music Ensemble Member 2014-2015
Learned to play the liuquin, a traditional Chinese mandolin, and the erhu, a
stringed instrument. Rehearsed weekly and performed twice as part of a 15-
member ensemble.

PERFORMANCE Symphonic Choir- Joe Miller, conductor

EXPERIENCE Sang with a choir of 200 singers with world renowned conductors in venues
including Lincoln Center (NYC), Carnegie Hall (NYC) and the Kimmel Center
(Philadelphia).

Kantorei Summer Choral Institute- Chris Munce, conductor 2014-2015


Rehearsed and performed in an auditioned chamber choir of collegiate musicians
from the greater Kansas City, Missouri area.

Violinist for renowned composer Ola Gjeilo


Accompanied Westminsters Womens Choir under the direction of Sam 2014
Brukhman at their Fall 2014 concert. Participated in a workshop and received
feedback from Gjeilo, then performed his compositions as part of a string quartet.
