SITUATION BRIEFED TO US
Client Name - Asit & Arti Kothari

Why do they need our help?

Our clients have recently moved to a new house and
have planned on renting the old one to a journalist and
thus they want us to redecorate one of the rooms to suit
the needs of the tenant.
CLIENT BRIEF
Our client has recently rented out a place in Ghatkopar, East.
The room was acquired by the client mother and because he has shifted to a new
house, he has rented out the old place.
Our client wanted the room to look more approaching and appealing to the tenant
(who is a journalist) and decided to give it a quirky and handloom inspired feel.
He wanted typical journalist things to be a part of the room like bookshelves,
quotes and sayings, mixed match textiles etc.

A GLIMPSE OF THE BEDROOM BEFORE
INITIAL THINGS THAT CAME TO OUR MIND
The tenant is not going to be permanent, so whatever we do should be temporary but
still look presentable and appealing to the tenant.
We can play around with weird colour combinations as journalists themselves are very
quirky and experimental. But we still have to relate the colours to the Indian handlooms.
We can place some DIY products/ decorations as journalists will always love to have
something handmade.
We can reuse so many things that are already kept in the clients old house and can
re-vamp them to give a new look and at the same time make our project budget friendly.
