Indiafrom1947,havedoneverylittletoimprovethelivesofthepoorpeople.Onlyduring
anypoliticalcrisisorelectionswehearalaundrylistofprogramsforthepoorbutafterthe
electionsareoverthemightyandthepowerfuldonotevenventurenearthesepoorpeople.
InmyopinionpovertyinIndiaisheretostayasitfuelsthepoliticalvotebanksofour
politicians.

MaoismisnothingbutanextortionistmovementifIweretobeasked.Theypotray
themselvesastheguardiansofthepoortribalsbutasamatteroffactthepooruneducated
