Statotherm R profile rings R901/B are made Good deformability
from permanently elastic, expanded graphite Permanent resilience
(purity >99.85 %) without binders or fillers. Long-term flexibility
Therefore these profile rings are almost Good structural strength
maintenancefree, for severe temperature
changes and /or extreme temperatures, which
cannot be handled by elastomeric O-rings.

Notes Standards and approvals

The deformation of Statotherm profile rings is permitted in axial direction only. The construction of TA-Luft
groove must be designed to avoid any radial deformation of the sealing ring as this may destroy it. BAM (on request)

R901/B6: density 1.4 g/cm3
R901/B7: density 1.6 g/cm3
R901/B8: density 1.8 g/cm3
R904/...: reduced sulphur content < 200 ppm
