ini agar untuk berjalan ke tingkat selanjutnya lebih muda.
PRESENT FUTURE

Kata Kunci : akan

Nama Tense : Present Future
Kegunaan : Untuk menyatakan sesuatu
yang akan terjadi di waktu
yang akan datang
Rumus :
1. Predikat Verb
(+) S + will + V1 ( He will live here.)
(-) S + will + not + V1 (he will not live here.)
(Y/N?) Will + s + V1 (Will he live here?)
(QW?) QW + Will + s + V1 ( why will he live here?)
2. Predikat Complement
(+) S + will be + C ( You will be fat.)
(-) S + will + not + be + C (you will not be fat.)
(Y/N?) Will + s + be + C (will you be fat?)
(QW?) QW + will + s + be + C (Why will you be fat?)

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

Kata Kunci : sedang

Nama Tense : Present Continuous / Present Progressive
Kegunaan : Untuk menyatakan sesuatu
yang sedang terjadi di waktu sekarang
Rumus :
1. Predikat Verb
(+) S + am/is/are + Ving ( He is sleeping now.)
(-) S + am/is/are + not + Ving ( He is not sleeping now.)
(Y/N?) Am/is/are + s + Ving (Is he sleeping now?)
(QW?)QW + Am/is/are + s + Ving (Why is he sleeping now?
2. Predikat Complement
(+) S + am/is/are + being + C ( He is being angry with me.)
(-) S + am/is/are + being + not + C ( He is not being angry with me.)
 (Y/N?) Am/is/are + S + being + C ( Is he being angry with me?)
(QW?) QW + am/is/are + S + being + C ( Why is he being angry with me?)

SIMPLE PAST

Kata Kunci : dulu/lalu

Nama Tense : Simple Past
Kegunaan : Untuk menyatakan / CERITA sesuatu
yang terjadi di waktu lampau. Titik tekan tense ini adalah
bahwa tense ini digunakan untuk CERITA hal-hal yang terjadi
diwaktu lampau.
Rumus :
1. Predikat Verb
(+) S + V2 ( I helped my mother yesterday.)
(-) S + did + not + V1 (I did not help my mother yestterday.)
(Y/N?)Did + s + V1 (Did I help my mother yesterday?)
(QW?)QW + did + s + V1 (Where did I help my mother yesterday?)
2. Predikat Complement
(+) S + was/were + C ( They were thin last year.)
(-) S + was/were + not + C ( They were not thin last year.)
(Y/N?) Was/were + s + C (Were they thin last year?)
(QW?)QW + was/were + s + C (Why were they thin last year?)

PRESENT PERFECT

Kata Kunci : telah/sudah

Nama Tense : Present Perfect
Kegunaan : Untuk menyatakan sesuatu

yang telah terjadi. Dalam tense ini yang penting adalah sesuatu telah terjadi. Masal
ah kapan sebenarnya terjadinya itu diceritakan dengan tense Simple
Past. Selain itu titik tekan tense ini adalah pada akibat. Maksudnya , misalkan kalim
atnya berbunyi I have eaten breakfast.
(Aku sudah makan pagi.) Itu artinya Aku sudah melakukan aktifitas makan pagi. L
antas kapan aku makan paginya? Jam berapa? Itu dijelaskan oleh Simple
Past. Misalkan I ate breakfast two hours ago.
Rumus :
1. Predikat Verb
(+) S + have/has + V3 ( He has killed a snake.)
(-) S + have/has + not + V3 ( He has not killed a snake.)
 (Y/N?) Have/has + s + V3 (Has he killed a snake?)
(QW?) QW + have/has + s + V3 (why has he killed a snake?)
2. Predikat Complement
(+) S + have/has + been + C ( He has been crazy with football.)
(-) S + have/has + not + been + C ( He has not been crazy with football.)
(Y/N?) Have/has + s + been + C (Has he been crazy with football?)
(QW?) QW + have/has + s + been + C (When has he been crazy with football?)

SIMPLE PRESENT

Kata Kunci : tidak ada k.kunci

Nama Tense : Simple Present
Kegunaan : Untuk menyatakan kebiasaan / kejadian yang berulang-
ulang, kebenaran umum/ilmiah, dan kejadian di waktu sekarang
Rumus :
1. Predikat Verb
(+) S + V1 , apabila subjeknya He, She, It, V1 nya ditambah S/es.
(He lives in Bogor now)
(-) S + do/does + V1 (He does not live in Bogor.)
(Y/N?)Do/does + S + V1 (Does he live in Bogor?)
(QW?)QW + do/does + S + V1 (Why does he live in Bogor?)
2. Predikat Complement
(+) S + am/is/are + C (She is happy.)
(-) S + am/is/are + not + C (she is not happy.)
(Y/N?) Am/is/are + s + C (Is she happy?)
(QW?) QW + am/is/are + s + C (Why is she happy?)
