App- Challenge (BUSINESS PLAN)

Imagine you meet a Venture Capitalist/Financer in an Elevator and you have just few minutes to impress him
with your business idea. To be prepared for such an opportunity of fate-Business Plan Competition is just for
you. For all those who have stars in their eyes and dream the impossible may present their own business
plan.

Guidelines: Round 1: Elevator Pitch

1. Elevator Pitch: The elevator pitch is a concise presentation of an entrepreneur's idea, business
concept, customers, and economics. The Pitch must be no longer than 2 mins. Time begins when
the presenter begins to speak.
2. The plan should be strictly related to the APPLICATION (MOBILE BASED)
3. Promoting digitalisation should be the focus.
4. No visual aids, index cards, slides, or props may be used during the elevator pitch.
5. There will be no question and answer session following the elevator pitches.
6. The team has to showcase their business by developing an innovative, creative and professional
elevator pitch.
7. The team has to impress the Venture Capitalists/Financers within a very short time so that they
develop interest in your project and are compelled to say Tell me More
8. All the teams are required to be ready with their Detailed Pitch in the form of a MS PowerPoint
Presentation. However only those teams that are successful in impressing the Venture Capitalist/
Financers/ Judges shall qualify for the next round.
9. The next round shall be conducted immediately after the first round.

Guidelines Round 2: Tell me more.. (Detailed Business Plan)

1. Detailed pitch will be an elaborate and in-depth presentation of the entrepreneur's concept
accompanied with visual aids.
2. The maximum capital that is required for the Business should not be more than Rs. 10 Lakhs.
3. The Plan should include- Marketing plan, Operational plan, HR plan, Financial Plan ,Legal
requirements for establishing the business and schemes offered by the government for the
business, if any. Teams are also required to build a timeline of their plan mentioning the
various Milestones of the business.
4. Marks of Round 1 and Round 2 shall be clubbed to decide the final winner.
5. Keep in mind, your business plan will be judged on the basis of idea, creativity, innovation and
feasibility.

Preparing for the Interview:

1. Download the orientation form from the website or collect it at the time of the registration and fill it

duly.

Interview Procedure:

1. The participant will go through the first round of MOCK INTERVIEW and will be short listed.

2. The shortlisted participants from the first round shall then proceed to the final round.

3. The final round will be staged and will be with a panel of experts.

Marketing takes a day to learn. Unfortunately, it takes a lifetime to master.

Here is a golden chance to present your ability as the shrewdest marketer in an extremely challenging competition.
Corporate roadies is a two day event, fascinating and one of its kind. The event poses a series of marketing
challenges.
The first round will be logo designing and round 2 will be Guerrilla Marketing.

Guidelines Round 1: Logo designing

1. This is a team activity.

2. The teams will be getting the logo of a company.
3. The participants will have to redesign the logo and reword the tagline.
4. The teams will have to give reasons for the new logo and the new tag line.
5. Marks will be given on creativity as well as on realistic and practical assumptions.
6. This is not an elimination round.
7. The next round will be Guerrilla promotions.

Guidelines Round 2: Guerrilla promotion

1. Each team will be given a product.

2. Teams will have to promote that product with little budget.
3. Teams will be allotted space.
4. Teams will have to think of unconventional way of promoting that product using the given space.

 FINANCIAL WIZARD (Virtual Trading Competition)

Everyone has the brainpower to follow the stock market. If you made it through fifth-grade math, you can
do it said Peter Lynch

Do you relate to these words from Mr.Peter Lynch? The objective of this event is to enhance your investment
quotient and broaden your financial outlook. This event will help you to learn the nuances of trading and investing in
live share market.

Guidelines:

1. The competition shall be active for 1 trading day during market hours (09:15 am- 03:30 pm).
2. At the start of the contest, Rs. 15 Lacs of virtual money will be allocated to each participant.
3. Team will be provided with one User ID. The trading is to be done through this User Id.
4. The participant with the highest Net Worth (cash in hand + value of stocks held) at the end of trading
day will be the winner.
5. The judges decision will be final and binding on all.

 BIZ-QUIZ

This quiz will enable to judge the knowledge of the participants towards the industries, companies and
product. And also to judge the awareness of participants through questions related to knowledge of business,
insight of business and business related areas.

Guidelines Round 1: Elims:

1. The teams have to report on 24th March, 2017 at 11 am in college premises for the first round.
2. The first round is an elimination round .
3. All teams will have to participate in a written elimination round from which 6 teams will be shortlisted for
finals.
4. The written elimination round shall comprise of 30 objective type questions.
5. Each team shall receive 20 minutes for the same.
6. Qualification to the round 2 will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in the elimination round.

Guidelines Round 2:Finals:

1. Top 6 teams from round one will qualify for round two. The teams will have to report on 25 th March, 2017
at 9 am.
2. Final event will have three rounds, as follows
a. Jargon Jumble
b. Speed pitch
c. Chain-o-chain
3. The organizers decision will be final and binding on all.

ERUDITION PREMIER LEAGUE (AUCTION)

Ever fantasized of buying a Football team? Splurging money and bidding for your favourite players? If yes,
we present you with a chance to live your dream!

Guidelines Round 1: Football Quiz

1. The first round will be a Football Quiz competition that will be conducted in the college IT Lab.
2. This is an elimination round.
3. The teams with highest score qualify to the next round.

Guidelines Round 2: Auction

1. The teams will be given a list of players and their rating point in football.
2. Each player will have a base price.
3. The teams will also be provided with a particular amount to bid for the players they want and build a
team of 11 players (10 players +1 goalkeeper).
4. The teams will get half an hour to prepare their plan. The teams can utilize this time to prepare their
rough draft about the players they will bid for.
5. The auction will begin at 11.00 a.m.
6. Each Player will go under the hammer.
7. The bidding will start from the base price.
8. The same procedure will be followed for all the players.
9. After the bidding, the team will then proceed to the football ground.
10. Each team will be getting ten chances for shootout for each player of their football teams.
11. For every goal the teams will be getting points on the basis of the players ranking points.
12. The teams with the highest total points will be the winner
