Career and Educational Goals: (in paragraph
form)
My intended major is criminal justice with a minor in
business which fall in the category of the college of arts and
sciences. Every since I was 10, I have been intrigued by our
criminal justice system and the way trials are conducted. Being a
Criminal Prosecuting Attorney is my dream. At first I was
interested in being a defense attorney but I fear that my personal
beliefs would get in the way. The criminal field is very interesting.
What entices me is why people commit crimes and the details
leading up to the crime. I enrolled in the Legal Studies Academy
which gave me knowledge on how to write legal papers and
conduct trials which made me fall in love with the profession even
more. Watching trials and looking at forensic evidence gave me
understanding of the difficulty of the tasks. At Howard University/
I will give me the best education and experience I need.
