AIM: The objective of this practical session is to observe different faults in television system
and troubleshoot each fault.

TOOLS:
Television set
Multi-meter
Pattern generator
Trainer M25E/EV
Remote control with batteries
Power cords
BNC Antenna connector and coaxial cable.

PROCEDURES:

WORKING ENVIROMENT SETUP


Switch the TV set on with the switch on the front side of the card be sure that the antenna

FAULT INSERTION
Remove the locked cover of the compartment of the switches for fault insertion.
Turn off the TV set before inserting any fault.
Turning one of these switches to ON will insert the corresponding fault.
After the troubleshooting, switch the TV set off, remove the fault inserted before and
switch the TV set on again.
