The Village Free Press has been providing relevant news, vital information,
probing analysis and unique perspectives for Maywood residents since 2013.
We also cover news that happens in the surrounding communities of Bell-
wood, Broadview, Melrose Park and Stone Park. So, our readers come from
a set of communities that comprise more than 80,000 residents and around
26,000 households.

Since our founding, weve been offering our service exclusively online. Start-
ing in 2017, however, that will change. In March, well launch a beta version
of a monthly news magazine that will be distributed exclusively in Maywood.
Our goal is to gradually expand our print coverage to our four other target
communities and to ultimately evolve into the full-service weekly newspaper
that the more than 80,000 residents in our service area deserve.
