The teacher can suggest a diagnostic
assessment look more closely at their
strengths and weaknesses. This can
give the teacher an indication of the
best next steps. This might be resolved
through a change in teaching styles,
better-seated location in the classroom
or specialist intervention. Students
who are above expectation might
require an individual plan where they
can work ahead or even move to the
next grade.
