What is the PlantStruxure Certified Engineer program?
The PlantStruxure Certified Engineer (PSXCE) program is an elite training syllabus that qualifies individuals
and organizations as experts in the implementation of Schneider Electrics PlantStruxure architecture solutions.
An engineer with a PlantStruxure certification is recognized as having mastered the complete PlantStruxure offer,
and possessing the capability to implement solutions for the most demanding requirements.

Professional Certifications
Professional Certifications are introductory level certifications that are based on product offers,
and are the first step towards the full Engineer Certification.
Where applicable, the examinations are written using the most recent version of the product.

Engineer Certification is the highest level of accreditation. This certification recognizes the architectural expertise of PlantStruxure
Engineers who can support the complex automation networks of global organizations and effectively translate business strategies
into automation architectures.

What if I was previously certified?
Certifications issued prior to 2014 are valid for a period of two years. Candidates whose certifications
have expired will be required to pass an upgrade examination. This examination contains a selection
of questions on all three core subjects (SCADA, PAC & Networking). Successfully passing this upgrade
exam will grant recertification for a further three years.

Schneider Electric offers a wide range of training courses on all aspects of PlantStruxure Certification
architectures, e.g. SCADA, PAC, Networking, in addition training is available for many further topics.
These training courses are typically available through Training Centres located in Carros (France),
Singapore & Boston (USA). Training can also be organized in other locations, for more details related

How long will certification be valid for?
From 2014, certifications will be valid for three years from the examination pass date.
Beyond 2014, a credits system will be used for recertification. When a certification expires,
candidates will have to provide evidence of 300 credit points, which can be earned in the following ways:
