scholarship. I have had the pleasure to know Alan since I began working at Overton in 2016.
Alan is a genuinely deserving candidate who will be an excellent representative of your ideal
scholarship winner.

I became more acquainted with Alan when he would come and do his work in the library. It has
become obvious to me that he is an exemplary student committed to his education. In addition to
his academic achievements, he possesses an outstanding character, strong work ethic and
intrinsic desire to improve herself. Seldom do I encounter students of this caliber.

During his high school career Alan has been involved in numerous academic and extra-
curricular activities, such as DECA, TSA, Beta Club, Red Cross Club, National Honor Society,
Interact Club, Best Buddies and Wrestling. Alan has a 3.5 GPA. He has been working at Publix
for almost 2 years, and is currently taking college classes-dual enrollment history, dual
enrollment English, and AP Stats.

I have a tremendous amount of trust and respect for this young man, and I unreservedly
