Following steps have been adopted

Existing Designs have been checked and understood for earlier

design philosophy
Study and site visit of locations carried out and the available
drawings correctness were checked with site measurements.
Analysis of collected data & preparation of the scheme
As per existing distances between technological units, they were
segregated for medium velocity water spray system. The
locations of hydrants and monitors reviewed and required
relocation suggested and marked on the fire protection layout
drawing.
Capacity of fire water pumps finalised based on single largest fire
as per OISD 144.
Network analysis carried out for adequacy of Pipeline diameter in
light of enhanced capacity of fire water pumps
Other measures pertaining to safety, layout suggested for
implementation or future provisions.
Preliminary System design and approximate Bill of Materials
finalised
