5 modifications of mind:
right knowledge, wrong knowledge, imagination, sleep
and memory.
right knowledge: just by looking at the qn, the ans arises
right knowledge has 3 roots:
direct cognition(of the truth)
inference(out of logic)
words of the master(sathsang)
unconcious mind is 9 times the concious mind.
mere intellectual understanding is not sufficient.
abhyasa and vairagya are very much necessary.
abhyasa: constant repetitive effort till it becomes a habit
a unconcious understanding, something involuntary.
abhyasa is for getting firmly established in oneself.
vairagya:

CONSTANT INNER PRACTICE AND NON ATTACHMENT.

THE INNER SOUND IS THE MASTER OF MASTERS.


HE IS THE AUM.MEDITATE ON HIM.
NAAM SHABD AND GURU ARE ONE.
WHATEVER BE YOUR TASK, DO IT SITTING IN THE MASTER POSTURE.

IMPORTANT POINTS:

OBSTACLES TO MEDITATION
DISEASE, LANGUOR, DOUBT, CARELESSNESS, LAZINESS, SENSUALITY, DELUSION,
IMPOTENCY AND INSTABILITY ARE THE OBSTACLES THAT DISTRACT THE MIND.
ANGUISH, DESPAIR, TREMORS AND IRREGULAR BREATHING ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF A
DISTRACTED MIND.
TO REMOVE THESE, MEDITATE ON ONE PRINCIPLE.
"THE SOUND".
2)THE MIND BECOMES TRANQUIL BY CULTIVATING ATTITUDES OF FRIENDLINESS TOWARDS
THE HAPPY, COMPASSION TOWARDS THE MISERABLE, JOY TOWARDS THE VIRTUOUS AND
INDIFFERENCE TOWARDS THE EVIL.
THE MIND ALSO BECOMES TRANQUIL BY ALTERNATELY EXPELLING AND RETAINING THE
BREATH.
WHEN MEDITATION PRODUCES EXTRAORDINARY SENSE PERCEPTIONS, THE MIND GAINS
CONFIDENCE AND THIS HELPS PERSEVERANCE.
ALSO, MEDITATE ON THE INNER LIGHT WHICH IS SERENE AND BEYOND ALL SORROW.
ALSO MEDITATE ON ONE WHO HAS ATTAINED DESIRELESSNESS.

WHEN I STUDY I FEEL LIKE MEDITATING.
WHEN I MEDITATE I FEEL LIKE GOING OUT.
EXPECTED SOLUTION:
WHEN U STUDY SIT IN THE MASTER POSTURE, AND JUST BE CONCERNED ABOUT THE SUBJECT.
IN SHORT MEDITATE ON THE SUBJECT.
PROBLEM:
I FEEL THERE IS NO LOVE IN ME.I'M DRY AND DEAD.
EXPECTED SOLUTION:
BE KEEN LOOKING. BE MORE MATHEMATICAL. DO CARE ABOUT LOVE TILL IT COMES. IF IT G
OES BACK SAY GOODBYE.
BE MATHEMATICAL. LIKE BUDDHA, PATANJALI. FOR U CANT BE A SUFI BY EFFORT.
PROBLEM:
I FEEL I'M LAZY. I'M NOT WORKING. I'M WITH A DISTURBED MIND.
EXPECTED SOLUTION:
TAKE A TASK LIKE READING A BOOK OR A PDF SITTING IN THE MASTER POSTURE. BE CONCE
RNED WITH THE TASK. BE CALM, DONT FORCE. BUT MEDITATE ON THE TASK.
PROBLEM:
EVEN A SLIGHT SEXUAL THOUGHT IS ENOUGH TO DRIVE ME SEXY. IT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE TO
COME BACK TO NORMAL STATE WITHOUT A FALL.
EXPECTED PROBLEM:
YOU HAVE A VERY WEAK MIND. THIS WEAKNESS IS DUE TO YOUR INSENSITIVITY THAT HAS A
RRISED OUT OF HABIT.
FOR THE MIND TO REMAIN CALM AND NOT TO JUMP EVEN AFTER ENCOUNTERING A DESIRE, IT
SHOULD HAVE A CLARITY AND A VERSION OF CONFIDENCE WHICH U LACK. IN SUCH A TIME
SWITCH TO MASTER POSTURE AND TAKE A TASK. C TO IT THAT THE SEX CENTER IS NOT EXP
OSED OUT. ITS BETTER IF YOU PRACTICE MASTER POSTURE FOR LONGER TIMES WITH NON AT
TACHMENT.
BREATHING EXERCISES WILL ALSO HELP TO SOME EXTENT. FOR THEY FETCH CLARITY.
REMEMBER MERE SITTING IN MASTER POSTURE IS LIKE SEMI SADANA.. DOING 50% SADANA.

TO BE AWARE ENOUGH ENERGY IS NEEDED WHICH CAN BE EASILY GAINED BY MASTER POSTURE

EAT YOUR FOOD, DO YOUR PETTY WORKS AND SIT IN THE POSTURE WITH A BOOK. BE AWARE
OF NOT ONLY THAT WHICH IS STUDIED BUT ALSO OF THE ENTITY THAT IS STUDYING.
AWARENESS IS THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE PUREST FORM OF OVERFLOWING ENERGY.
