All About ___ (ELA)

Objective: To identify each capital letter by

name.
Goal: To say and identify all 26 letters of the
alphabet (both capital and lower case) by
name, learn how to write each letter, and 4
words that begin with that letter.
(K.RF.1)Demonstrate understanding of the organization and
basic features of print.
d. Recognize and name all upper- and lowercase letters of
the alphabet.
Instructional input: Teacher will use All About
__ Pocket chart. Say the letter while pointing to
the letter. Read/sing the phrase, write the
letter, and say each picture word.
Materials: Pocket chart.
Checking for understanding: Does each
student correctly name the letter of the week?
Differentiation: Depending on student,
asking for only one task only.
