Go to Parameters / General Parameters / Parameter Values Module: TRS (A/P and A/R), click on the Parameters per group heading in the left list, then double-click TDC Early Discount/Late Charge mgt. DATDEP this parameter controls how the accounts receivable discounts will be aged. Options: forward from the Invoice date or backwards from the Open Item due date XAPDATE (in the XNA North American Addon group) this parameter controls how the accounts payable discounts will be aged. Options: backwards from the Item due date or forward from the Accounting date or forward from the Invoice date

Go to Common Data / BP Tables / Early Discount / Late Charge
Example: 2% discount if paid in 10 days (forward from invoice date)
When the parameters are set to age the discounts forward from the invoice date, set up the discount term as follows.

When the aging is done from the due date, a 2% 10 term would have to be set up for payments where the balance is due in 30, 45, 60 days, etc.
