 Single Level BOM

Overview
The Single Level BOM addon was created to provide a costing report that details the costs for a finished
goods bill of material. This report will show a single level; meaning that any manufactured sub-
component cost will be displayed as a material cost. The report can be run for a range of products, for a
single site, for a specific cost type, on a given year.

Setup
Report Defaults
The Report Default records exist for all four cost calculation functions in order to run the Single Level
BOM report. These defaults point to functions CALCSTSTD, CALCSTCUT, CALCSTSIM, CALCSTBUD.
Report Defaults exist to default information into the report criteria when the report is printed via the cost
calculation function. Make sure that these records exist. Under the ADMIN menu, this function can be
found under Parameters > Destinations > Default Values.

Report Translation
In order to print the Single Level Bom report at the completion of the Cost Calculation, the Report must be
setup in the Reports function. The internal code for the costing report is ITMCOST which points to the
Single Level BOM (XCITMCOST) report. Make sure that this record has been added to each child folder.
Under the ADMIN menu, this function can be found under Parameters > Destinations > Print Codes.

Single Level BOM Report

Cost Calculation
The standard cost calculation functions are executed to calculate costs based on the parameters entered.

The Single Level BOM report was designed to detail the calculated cost for a given finished good. The
report lists the components and operations for a BOM along with their associated costs. A summary
section displaying the overhead accounts can also be displayed based on a parameter.

After the cost calculation function is run, the Single Level BOM (XCITMCOST) report parameters will be
displayed and the report can be generated.
