refininglinear,lumped,finite,passive,andbilateralnetworksinthesphereofteaching.[4]

GuilleminwasappointedconsultanttotheMicrowaveCommitteeoftheNationalDefenseResearchCommitteein
1940.Assuch,hespentabouthalfofhistimeconsultingwithgroupsintheMITRadiationLaboratory.Hetook
overadministrativeresponsibilityoftheCommunicationsOptionintheMITDepartmentofElectrical
Engineering,in1941.[3]

Duringhiscareer,Guillemininfluencedmanyundergraduateandgraduatestudentswhowentontocontribute
greatlyinindustryandacademiaincludedinthelistarehisgraduatestudentsRobertFanoandThomas
Stockham.[5]Hisprofessionalcontributionswererecognizedinternationallywithnumeroushonorsand
