Development of Linux device driver PCI SATA controller.

This project is based on Linux driver. This driver is developed to minimize latency and increase IO
throughput of SATA disks, This driver provides a MMAP based read/write interface for RAID stack.
RAID stack interacts with this driver (loaded as module) for any operation required on the SATA
disk connected to this PCI device. It maps PCI BAR register to a user address space and RAID
stack can directly issue any command to the disk.

Role: Design and Code implementation.

Design and development of Linux Ethernet MAC driver on a PowerPC 440GR SoC
embedded platform.
This project is based on Ethernet driver for RealTek RTL8139D. RTL8139D is a single-chip
10/100M fast Ethernet controller with power management. The driver is based on polling
instead of interrupts generated from the device and uses a dynamic timer to check the status
of device after a specified period of time and calling the corresponding handler function. This
project also includes testing of modified Ethernet driver by cross-compiling a text-based web
browser and using it on the embedded platform.

Historical places, Malls, Hospitals, Bus routes, Culture etc.
