You may use your Above and Below Sea Level activity on MSG p. 242-243 as a guide to help create
your project. You will create your own number line scene, where 0 is sea level or ground
level. Or, you can use the number line to represent a time line, with 0 being the present, negatives
representing the past, and positives representing the future. Your number line may be vertical or
horizontal.

You will also include a 10-question quiz asking for the distance between objects in your drawing
Make sure they are clear and your key is accurate! The answer key must be provided below. Leave the
answer blanks empty on the quiz, because we will swap papers in class, and a peer will take your
quiz!
Your picture must be neat, colored, and created with care!
