Greetings from an Autumnal Christchurch
Volumes of properties on the market and sale prices were a bit up and down in January. This
is the typical summer pattern with the market in holiday mode and many buying groups less
active.

During the latter part of January, the number of listings started to increase which presented
buyers with more choice going forward. Activity levels started to increase in February with
more active buyers looking to purchase. Evidence of this has been witnessed with several
multi-offers for deadline sales and plenty of bidders at our auctions.

The median price trend continues to ease with the sales volume trend improving. The overall
trend for the region continues to ease. Needless to say we are working with many buyers still
looking for their dream home and we are always looking for more houses to sell to meet the
demand.

Through until the end of April is still a great time to sell your home before winter.
