Part Sublayer, CPS, resources during establishment of incoming connections on this AP
caused by Channel Identifier, CID, and/or bandwidth collision or mismatch of Call
Admission Control, CAC, between peers.

Check pmUnSuccInConnsRemote
Number of unsuccessful establishment of incoming connections on this AP caused by
reject from beyond this node

Check pmUnSuccOutConnsLocal Number of unsuccessful attempts to allocate CPS

resources during establishment of outgoing connections on this AP. Caused by rejects in
CAC (Connections Admission Control). Main indicator of aal2 congestion problems ,
increase traffic descriptor or another E1 required.

Check pmUnSuccOutConnsRemote Number of unsuccessful establishment of outgoing

connections on this AP caused by reject from remote side, reset from remote side, no
reply or signalling link failure.

RAXB R2 ladder for mapping RABs to number of CE

There is a new ladder for RAXB R2 as shown in the table below. For 64 Kbps data twice
the amount of c.e is required. This new ladder only have a small impact when
dimensioning a network, as most of the data traffic is downlink and also with higher bit-
rates than in uplink.
Even with the new ladder Ericsson have higher channel element efficiency than
competition. Ericsson channel element implementation in the uplink is matched with
competition. The channel element implementation in downlink for higher data rates is up
to 50% more efficient than competition.

Call Disconnected by UE and not Utran

If the UE disconnects the call with interworking unspecified , look in the

NAS setup message sent from the CN to the UE. this can help to located the
problem in the core. Especially low layer compatability component of Setup
message.
If possible compare to a good call.
