Ultimate RO-90 with UV Upgrade Installation Addendum

The steps for installing the RO-90 with UV Upgrade are the same as the included manual. Please follow the direc-
tions in the Owners Manual from pages 1-13.

When you get to Step 6 Connecting the System, Summary of Tubing Connections. For connection from
Point G to Y and Point H to Z in page 13 of Owners manual, please follow this Addendum. (See Fig.1 Below)

Note: The 4th stage membrane has been rerouted into the UV filter as stage 5 (Point G) and the original
5th stage Carbon filter (FI-TCR-QC) will now become the 6th stage (Point H).

Point G to Y: Connect product water from 5th stage UV filter to tank (Point Y) Yellow tubing. This tubing is a
2-way line; Product water enters and leaves the tank via this line.

Point H to Z: Connect product water from 6th- stage Carbon filter output to RO faucet (Point Z) Clear tubing.

When you get to Step 5 Point H and Step 6 Point G under Details on Tubing Connections in page 15 of
Owners manual, please follow below.

5. Point H Stage - 6 filtered water to faucet connection:

Tubing color: Clear tubing. Connect the CLEAR tubing from the faucet base stud to the Stage-6 filters
outflow end at Point H. (See Flow --> arrow on the filter for flow direction.)

Fitting type: Quick connect. Please remove the End Plugs first, and then simply push the Clear tubing
into the QC fitting. No Inserts, Sleeves or Nuts are needed to secure the connection. No
teflon tape needed here.

6. Point G Stage - 5 UV light T-fitting connection.

Tubing color: Yellow tubing. Connect the YELLOW tubing to the T-Fitting on UV light at Point G.

Fitting type: Quick connect. Please remove the End Plug first, and then simply push the Yellow tubing
into the QC fitting. No Inserts, Sleeves or Nuts are needed to secure the connection. No
teflon tape needed here.

Note: Once the RO installation is complete, please attach the UV transformer to the UV light, then to the
power outlet. The UV light indicator will illuminate once the UV unit is powered.

Please refer back to Step 7 on page 16 in the Owners Manual to complete installation.
Note: To replace filters for stage 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 on the system, please go to page 18 of Owners manual for
replacement instruction. To replace the UV light bulb, please follow the instruction below.

Replacing UV Light Bulb

Please replace the UV light bulb after 1 year of service. After 12 months, the UV bulb loses its strength. Prolonged use
after 1 year will result in less than optimal performance.

UV light bulb changing instructions:

1) Unplug the light transformer from the power outlet.

2) Do Not open the UV light housing.

3) Disconnect the transformers adapter and UV lights adaptor at Point A (Use Fig. 1 for reference)

4) Use a flat screwdriver and gently extract the light bulb on the flat surface at Point B.

5) Insert the new light bulb at Point B.

6) Make sure the bulb is completely in and secure.

7) Re-connect the 2 adapters at Point A.

8) Power the transformer.
