NURSING COURSES
Every RN to BSN student will begin the nursing program with Professional Nursing N3345 following successful completion of ENGL
1301 & 1302. You will need to complete Technical Writing either prior to or concurrently with Professional Nursing (concurrently
only if ENGL 2338 Technical Writing is taken at UTA) before advancing to other nursing courses.

NURSING ELECTIVES
RN to BSN students who have completed a national nursing certification exam will receive three credit hours. Other students must
complete a Nursing Elective in place of these three credit hours. An Upper Division Nursing Elective must also be completed as part
of General Courses if not previously completed in past academic coursework.

GENERAL COURSES
All General Courses must be successfully completed prior to entering into the final Capstone Course in the RN to BSN nursing
degree program. You may have already completed many of these courses through prior academic work and you may receive credit
for classes previously completed. An academic advisor will provide a course map once you have applied, submitted your official
transcripts, and are accepted by the UT Arlington College of Nursing and Health Innovation.
