I. Objectives
After a 50 minute discussion, the pupils are expected to:
1. Distinguish various types of viewing materials;
2. Explain the functions or uses of various viewing materials.

II. Subject Matter

Topic: Distinguishing Various Types of Viewing Materials

Materials: Charts, flashcards, real objects (Television, Laptop, LCD Projector, Desktop Computer)

III. Procedure
A. Preparation
1. Performing Routinized Activities
a. Prayer
b. Greeting
c. Singing
d. Checking of Attendance

2. Drill
Read the words being flashed by the teacher.

3. Motivation
Bring the pupils inside the School E-Classroom. Show the pupils a jigsaw puzzle; teach them
the mechanics in playing jigsaw puzzles. And ask them if they want to play jigsaw puzzles.

B. Developmental Activities
1. Introduction
Group the pupils into four. The teacher will provide a puzzle of viewing materials and a chart for the
pupils to paste their work. The leader of the group will present their idea regarding the puzzle they formed.
Guide Questions:
Are you familiar with these materials?
Who among you have these materials at home?
2. Discussion
The teacher will present the lesson using a PowerPoint Presentation. She will discuss the viewing
materials and the functions or uses of each viewing material.

C. Generalization
The leaders of each group will pick a picture inside the box and they are going to identify the material
in the picture and they will explain the functions or uses of the viewing material they picked.

IV. Evaluation
On a whole sheet of paper, identify the viewing materials being shown and explain the function of
each viewing material.

V. Assignment
Cut and paste on your assignment notebook ten (10) pictures of different viewing materials.
