Aside from earning a higher grade, my S.M.A.R.T. goal for the 5th progress report in
Humanities class is to improve my lexile level by 50 points by the end of May.

My goal in Humanities I for the fall semester of this school year was to improve my writing skills and have great
grammar & punctuation. Overall, I was successful in reaching this goal because of strengths regarding my time
management skills as well as effective use of resources. I succeeded primarily because of time management skills
because I was always on time for school and I almost always utilized my computer to help myself learn new things.
Additionally, I always payed attention to my teachers lessons so that I could learn more. Although I succeeded with
several study skills this year, I have also struggled with organization and preparation. I have often come to school
without a charged laptop, and I have somewhat struggled to keep my backpack and notebooks well-organized.
Additionally, I have often forgotten to use my planner to write down my homework. Even though I didnt use my planner
as I should, it didn't affect me that much but I think I could have done better if I would have tried better. My S.M.A.R.T.
goal for the spring semester of this school year is to improve my lexile level by completing at least 20 Achieve300
articles and read 3 book by June 12th. I will accomplish this goal by reading at least 4 articles a day and reading a book
every 2 weeks I will also use my planner more often. In order to overcome my weakness in forgetting to bring a charged
laptop each day, I will set a reminder on my phone to plug my laptop in every evening before I go to bed. My hope for
the future is that I will be able to complete medical school and become a Radiologist Technician or Psychiatrists.I know
that Radiologist or Psychiatrists must be effective, clear, and detailed writers, so it is my hope that by following this plan
for Humanities I I will be able to take one step closer to my dream.
