JAN. 16, Read about the RA. 9208 Anti Trafficking in Person Act of
2017 2003 as amended by RA 10364 expanded Anti Trafficking
in Person Act of 2012. And study how the Trafficking in
Persons committed and how it differs on Human
Smuggling. Also, read the documents about the Revised
Forestry Code and the Chain Saw Act. It is about the
regulating the use and the possession of a chain saw to
protect the forest. That will be tackle on the Seminars in
Vigan and Tuguegarao

There is an organization the PSCCJP that conduct

seminars funded by the US government and to help the
local government and Schools to be aware and
knowledgeable to our current problem.

JAN. 17, I went to the Department of Justice at Malate, Manila

2016 together with Sir Ralph Lanutan one of the staff of Dr.
Casio. We went to the Inter Agency Council against
Trafficking(IACAT) Office to get some booklet about
Trafficking in Person that will be use in the upcoming
seminar on the Vigan and Tuguegarao.

I learned that there is a different department or office on

the DOJ that focusses on the different problem. The
IACAT is an agency that helps every person that are
 victim of Trafficking. And the IACAT also involves the
different member Agency and NGOs to protect and to
rehabilitate those people who are trafficked.

JAN. 18, Arranged documents about Revised Forestry Code and

2016 Chain Saw Act or PD 705. It is the law which regulates
the management, use, development and protection of
forest lands. And Ra 9208 as amended by RA 10364
Expanded Anti- Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012 which
will protect especially women and children from sexual
exploitation, force labor and abuse. These are the topics
that will be included on the seminar in the Vigan and
Tuguegarao.

While arranging these documents we also learned about

the services available for trafficked persons including
housing, counseling, legal service, livelihood and
educational assistance for trafficked children. These
programs will really help the victim if it is properly
conducted by the government.
JAN. 19, Arranged documents about the Revised Forestry Code
2016 and Chain Saw Act. And about Ra 9208 and compile it to
envelopes for the preparation of the upcoming seminar

The seminar about the Anti-Trafficking in Person and

Revised Forestry Code is very important. Here in our
country, the problem of illegal logging is very serious
specially on the provinces that has corrupt officials help
illegal logger or kaingeros to have fake and illegal
permits.
