You have been approached by a group of eco-conscious investors who are interested in
developing an application of green technology to be produced right here in Canada. Green
technology is technology that is produces energy (or uses it) in an environmentally friendly
manner. There are many applications of green technology, so in order to ensure that they are
investing wisely, these investors need a team of experts to help them weigh their options. This
is where you come in! It is up to you and your team to investigate one method of green
technology and present your findings in an investors meeting (in class on Wednesday/
Thursday).
The Presentation:
Each team will have 3 members. Your presentation should be approximately 4-5 minutes long
and as a team, you will be expected to speak about your topic while using your powerpoint as a
visual aid (no text, only images). Here are some key points to include in your presentation:
What is your technology? How does it produce or use electricity?
Where in Canada would be a suitable place to use this technology?
Pros and cons (environmental, economic)
Future prospects (will your technology be reliable for the foreseeable future?)
