Section order - the most important and relevant selling
points first (e.g. work experience, actuarial exam, extra-

curricular activity). Readers may not be patient enough


to read more than the first half page, so you have to get

the their attention in the first few sections.

Quantitative descriptions - use numbers to convince


the readers. Numbers is a good tool to add colour and
keep the CV simple, while often the readers have no
sense in what the applicant is really describing.

- Clearly state your key achievements such as SOA examination, as these are what the interviewers
- would like to know.

- Sharpen your communication skills and be a good team player
