As a Master of Science student in Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Maryland, I

With great interest in the field of geotechnical, I started my internship in one of the finest
Geotechnical Laboratories in India, I forced myself to become an expert so that I wouldnt
fall behind. After my under graduation I had the opportunity to work on a construction of a
commercial building and have been responsible for designing and implementing engineering
designs to bring the project to fruition successfully. The skills Ive learned working in
construction field can be applied to any work environment that I am placed in, particularly in
an internship with Bechtel.
