Maria Picton, MD.

Maria Picton was born in Venezuela and completed her medical degree in Caracas, Venezuela and her residency
Return To Dancers and fellowship at East Carolina University. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Oncology board certified
in Hematology/Oncology. She is currently an Hematology/Oncology physician with Physicians East. Dr. Picton has
danced all her life. Its a second passion, she says. In addition to caring for patients Maria is an avid athlete who
has participated/and is participating in Triathlons. Maria is married to Doug Picton, and has a beautiful family;
Michelle, Ellie, Victor, John and Vicky.

Procopio Serrano
Procopio Serrano, grew up in Wilson NC, and completed his architectural degrees from North Carolina State
University. Mr. Serrano currently works with The East Group PA in Greenville NC as a licensed Architect. Serrano
has been practicing Architecture and teaching Salsa in Greenville for the past 15 years. Procopio is married to
Heidi Diaz Serrano and has 3 beautiful girls, Amaya, Isabela, and Sofia.
