PISER (Peer Instruction and Student Electronic Response)
The partnership for 21s t century skills has suggested six key elements for
fostering 21st century learning.
PHASES of TIP
Phase 1:
Analysis Learning and Teaching Weeds
Step 1: Determine relative advantage
Phase 3:
Post Instruction Analysis and revision
Step 6: Analyze results
REFLECTION
It is a setting standard that help us achieve quality output. It
helps to fulfill our goals and objectives. As a future teacher, I will
be facilitating my studies, and to let them engage in using
technology to help in their learning and to achieved the learning
objectives. Also it is important to teach them the proper usage of
the technology and let them know the limitation of using these
tools.
With ISTE standard for the students, it allows them to learn both
knowledge and skills that can help them to contribute in the
community and society. The TIP model shows the teacher how to
establish a milieu in which technology can effectively enrich
learning. Therefore, using technology must help you in
understanding, gaining information ideas, and to enhance our
skills. You should know the advantage of using technologies and
set limitations that it will not result in destruction or addiction.
CHAPTER 3
Digital Technology and Media literacy
During the planning stage, you identify your targets-determine your existing
knowledge about the subject matter, determine the things that you still want
and need to know about it.

REFLECTION
In the 21st century, most of the teachers are using the technology
to teach their students. In order for the teachers to achieve the
time that he/she planned to deliver the lesson the teacher buses
strategies to achieve the learning task. They use the TIME plan to
guide them of what they are going to teach for a certain session.
CHAPTER 4
The ICT and the Computer: Its Roles and History
REFLECTION
Most of the things we used and do nowadays involved the use
of technology. Students and teachers made use of these when
they communicate, learn, access information, entertain and
eve to help them in daily task.
CHAPTER 5
Software for Educator and Student
System Software
Application Software
System Software
Operating System
Is one of the types of System Software which contains instructions
that coordinate all of the activities of the computer hardware devices.
Application Software
Instructional Software
Programs designs specifically to deliver instruction or aid with the
delivery of instruction.
Tutorial Software
Usually offers pretest, post-test and drill and practice.
Drill and Practice Software
Provides exercises in which students work on items one at a time and
received and feedback correctness.
Stimulation
Provide a life-like or world-like scenario or system that students may
experience through the computer.
Instructional Games
Primarily used to motivate learners in learning a concept or topic
Problem-solving Software
Focuses on fostering skills and problem solving
Special needs Software
Design specifically for students with learning disabilities to consist in
carrying out school task.
Administrative Software
REFLECTION
System and Application Software help administrator, teachers and
students electronically meet the ends of their products. The
different application software are allow students and teachers to
enhance their skills in producing creative output such as reports,
presentation, record keeping many other.
With the use of instructional software it teaches skills and
understands. It allows the students and teacher to learn a specific
strategy and to have a chance to evaluate their self through the
use of instructional software. Furthermore, using these tools
makes you to be innovative and creative. So many people are
dependent on technology to make their work easier and broaden
their minds.
CHAPTER 6

Benefit:
REFLECTION
In this chapter it gives us knowledge in selecting,
benefits, limitations and problems of the recognize
software. In using instructional software, the users
must know what software can help her to
understand well, and can evaluate their selves to
become better and master specific skills. All of the
software that is mentioned in chapter 6 is useful
for both the teacher and student but always
remember that it also gives disadvantage to us.
To have a better result in using the software, you
must chose wisely of what you are going to use
and set limitation on using so that it will not ruin
you or gives you problems.
CHAPTER 7
Evaluating Educational Technology
REFLECTION
It is important for the teacher to evaluate the
Educational Technology that he/she uses to
determine if it helps them in teaching the students.
Evaluation is to determine the appropriateness of
Ed Tech in classroom instruction and to gauge how
it enhances teaching.
Evaluation also is use to evaluate the students
performances, the criteria, rubrics, checklist and
rating skills serves for the teacher as their guide
to grade the students assignment, projects,
presentations, skills, and performances. Lets
remember that the Educational must be suitable
for the teaching and learning situations,
motivational, promote learning, address the needs
of the curriculum and help to meet the learning
outcomes of the students. Therefore, in using the
software in teaching, they must know the
appropriateness and the importance of using it, the
teacher must supervise and monitor so that the
students must be guided in assessing the totality
of learning.
CHAPTER 8
Legal and Ethical use of the Technology
REFLECTION
There is an ethical use of the school technologies to
achieve rightfully purpose of technology to support
teaching. We must follow the rules so that we can learn
without problem. I know that there are some cases that
the users did not abide the rules and they install some
documents that did not belong to them. This in now the
problem because you downloaded a certain program
without the permission, it is unlawfully act and you will be
arrested for making supplicate without the authorization
of the owner. So in using the technologies, we must be
considerate and know our limitation, save documents
that only belongs to you and protect it. But no matter
how much you protect the data in your computer
software, there are times that it is still being susceptible
from hacking. You must check it time to time and dont let
anyone know your privacy. The best precautionary
measure in keeping the hardware safe is to have full
awareness on its security by not leaving it anywhere and
unattended.
CHAPTER 9
Alternative Delivering System

- Through tools and requirement used in video are similar in web
conferencing, its purposely propose its entirely different
REFLECTION
It deals with the delivery system where teaching and
learning may take place. It allows the learners who
cannot come physically in school but are very eager to
learn. Students who wish to learn despite the long
distance and shortness in finances can now make their
dream within the reach of ADS. It helps in bridging the
gap between teachers and students of different standards
when it comes in instruction. It make possible for the
students to learn without even coming to the school
because they learn through technologies and support
Distance education.
