The series of world-famous police pistols began with

A GERMAN SUCCESS STORY
This book, available in two volumes,
was conceived to celebrate the 125-year
anniversary of Carl Walther GmbH. This
successful German company had its
beginnings in the 19th century in the town
of Zella St. Blasii (Thuringia), as a gunsmith
workshop.
The first book begins with an overview of
the events that occurred in the early 1990s,
which brought the hand of fate in leading the
WALTHER Company to merge with the Umarex
Group. The historical portion addresses the
origin of the WALTHER family business.

The second volume begins with the 1993
management change and is dedicated to the
dynamic advances WALTHER made in the
world market. By creating new models and
developing innovative sports promotions,
WALTHER has firmly positioned its company
in the new century.
