Description:
The main objective of this project is to develop a user friendly device that can assist the disabled
people to control home appliances on their own using Brain wave sensor. BCIs are systems that can bypass conventional
channels of communication (i.e., muscles and thoughts) to provide direct communication and control between the human
brain and physical devices by translating different patterns of brain activity into commands in real time. By passing the
commands to the microcontroller devices can be switched on or off.

11 Name of the Project: Staff Localization in Chemical Plant & Alerting System
Microcontroller: PIC16F877A Team Size: 3
Tool: MPLAB, Visual Basic.
Description:
The project presents a new approach to establish a wireless technology for the locality of people
location, and continuously track locations of these moving (people) in a chemical plant using RF & Zigbee Technology.
Each person will be carrying the RF id which will be transmitted through RF Transmitter and it will be received through
RF receiver in the chemical plant section. Zigbee transceiver is used to transmit the information to monitoring section. We
can send commands or alert the staff in case of any gas leakage or fire accident to the staff working in chemical plant
through Zigbee. The main advantage of this project is during the disaster like chemical explosions, the rescuers could get
the exact location of the staffs who work in the workshop.
