Objectives of the Experiment
1. To be able to determine to determine the pH of different facial wash, analyze the
content of the sample using potentiometric measurements.
2. To be able to identify if there are any heavy metals present in the facial wash
samples through AAS.
3. To be able to report the amount of salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and other active
ingredients in the samples using spectrophotometric technique and UV/VIS.

the use of Potentiometer, UV/VIS, AAS it is expected that the objectives will be
met. The Experimental approach for the design project will be partly based on the
manual provided in the course and partly based through different articles regarding

Facial wash has been a part of almost every human in their daily lives. Using
Facial wash as their cleanser, to treat their acne. The general purpose for skin
cleansing is to reduce sebum and exogenous contaminants and to control odors and
into the aqueous phase and enable their subsequent removal from the skin surface.
This study aims to give more additional source materials providing different
studies regarding the analysis of facial wash using different instruments such
