ACTIVITY GUIDE
INTERVIEW : 100 POINTS

Objective:

To express ideas and real life situations accurately and efficiently by

applying the contents seen in the course.

Specific objectives:

Take part on an interview

Pronounce correctly the words used
Use properly Grammar and Vocabulary learned in the course
Listen and answer according to instructions and questions

Topics:

1. Talk about the environmental problems Colombia is facing.

Learning strategy: Interview in which the student will be assessed taking

into account the contents learnt on the INVIL-UNAD English course.

Score: 100 points

Expected outcomes in the forum (30 points):

Choose one environmental problem Colombia is facing right now.

Record how this problem affects Colombia and your opinion about it;
your ideas must be recorded and sent in the forum using the tool
SVRecorder. The audio must not have more than two minutes.

Express your agreement and disagreement with your mates opinions.

Final outcome (70 points):

An interview with a tutor via Skype related to the forum. The student
should interact with his/her tutor in the same way he/she would do in
real life.

INSTRUCTIONS

Have the necessary virtual tools to carry out the interview.

Look up information about the actual environmental problems in Colombia.

Express your ideas about how Colombia is facing these problems.

Listen to your partners recordings and make comments about them.

Choose a time frame, from the schedule established by your tutor to carry
out the interview. A Google Drive shared document will be provided by
your tutor through the email.

Register on the schedule your ID number, full name, group number, email
and Skype username.

Log in Skype at least 10 minutes before the interview.

Remember to be available about 15 minutes and guarantee the proper

functioning of the headset, microphone and camera to carry out the
interview.

The interview comprises two sections:

Personal presentation
A conversation about the established topic for the time the interview
takes place.
