Abstract:
In todays life, everyone gives importance to time. Time does not wait for anybody. Everything
should be performed in time & accurately. Now a days college and school bells are manually
operated. There is a big question of accuracy. Also, there is a necessity of manpower and money.
This is a solution to all such problems. Our Project takes over the task of Ringing of the Alarm
clock in colleges or schools. This system replaces the Manual Switching of the Alarm Clock in
the colleges or schools. It has an Inbuilt Real Time Clock which tracks over the Real Time. When
this time equals to the Alarm ringing time, then the Relay for the Alarm is switched on. The Alarm
Ringing time can be changed at any time, so that it can be used at Regular Class Timings as well
as Exam Times. Real Time Clock is displayed on Seven Segment Display or Dot Matrix Display.
The Arduino Controller is used to control all the functions, it gets the time through the keypad and
stores it in its Memory. And when the Real Time and Alarm time get equal then Alarm is switched
on for a predetermined time. We can change the Timings of lecture or period by using a mobile
phone. For that, we can use Bluetooth Module Headset. Thus by using such electronic equipment
and controller we will be able to manage the real-time efficiently.

Block Diagram
Application:
1) Stand alone machine, it doesnt required computer to maintain ringing scheduled or program.
2) It has 32 character display to show current date and current time in 1st row and alarm ringing
time in 2nd row.
3) APNB model system is available. In this system alarm rings once for period no.1, rings twice
for period no.2 and so on. So that we can distinct the period number.
4) This system maintains the time accuracy in microseconds.

5) We can connect more number of alarms to cover whole area of college/school in audible range.

Outcome:
1) Unlike the existing solution this alarm system can be programmed remotely using Bluetooth or
using a pair of transmitter and receiver.
2) This alarm system is cheaper.
3) Requires low power
4) Can interrupt the current program for just one ring and the program continue as before.
5) Emergency alarm system in case of fire or earthquake
