The interesting American ideals

The United States of America has long heralded itself as the beacon of freedom and

democracy in the world. The founding ideals America is based on are equality, opportunity,

liberty, democracy, and rights. The purpose of the Declaration of Independence was to let

everyone know that the U.S was no longer part of Great Britain. The Declaration of

Independence contained a lot of ideals that are fundamental principle in our current society. We

all know that we have lived up to ideals expressed in the Declaration of Independence.

One ideals that is the rights, which means that the freedom to think or act without being

limited by unnecessary force. After defeating the French in North America, began to use an

American Ideals. Great British raised taxes and limited trade. It means, the British started

colonies that believed their rights. Therefore, four months after this battle, Lincoln dedicated the

military cemetery. The civil war divided nation, the United States almost split in two that rights

and equality. These evidences relate to is a liberty because the North and South fought for their

ideals of rights and equality.

Another ideals that are the equality and opportunity, Which means that the condition of

being equal and the other one means that the promise that people should have the chance to

attain their hopes and dreams. American cities rapidly the growth of industry. This industry

caused the problems and benefits. Child labor was one of the problems caused by

industrialization called for reform. Therefore, they needed a more workers, factories and
children. The benefit was that the United States entered World War II in 1941 to help defeat the

dictatorships of Germany, Italy, and Japan. American industry influenced in World War II,

because they technology was good that ships, tanks, and aircraft. This evidence relate to is

equality because Muckrakers were trying to defend everyone who was being mistreated. The

other one relate to is opportunity because American supplied to the war their technology.

Another ideals that is democracy, which means that a form of government that places

power in the hands of the people. Throughout American history, democracy has served as the

driving force behind movements and wars. The colonists felt that the frightening control over

them was a violation of the rights. American said to be in order to make the world safe for

democracy. The Reagan Revolution was an attempt to make government smaller cutting taxes

and encouraging individual responsibility. For a country of the land of the free, more than half of

its population was not allowed to vote. This evidence relates to is democracy because it was a

return to smaller government, reduced taxes and individual responsibility. Also, there were

fighting to be free and to gain rights that no slavery, voting, and equal protection.

Americas founding ideals were equality, rights, liberty, opportunity, and democracy. Now,

the United States has lived up to the ideals. Current, the American dream is that provide

opportunity to a citizen. Therefore, if citizens who have a citizenship, they have to vote a

president or senator. Those are still exist our society.
