I have been associated with Indian Achievers Forum (IAF) since its inception in
2000. And, I am proud to be a part of such a prestigious Forum where achievers
become inspirations for others.
Much has been written about how to achieve success and to become better at
what we do; but little is there about how to sustain success and become great
at what we do. I would like to add my perspective to the latter through my

INTERNATIONAL EVENTS AND SEMINARS
India and Middle East countries (particularly in the Gulf) have long enjoyed strategic and mutually beneficial
relationships. Interesting facts are India imports 60 per cent of its oil from the Middle East region and around 7
million Indian nationals are working in Middle East and repatriating U$40 billion remittances annually to India.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) ranks as one of Indias top trading partners. India & UAE have agreed to aim for
a 60% increase in trade in the next 5 years.
DUBAI - UAE
IAF organised two-day event in Dubai in March
2013. Many prominent personalities from UAE and
India attended this event.

It is interesting to know that many of Singapores earliest settlers were of Indian origin and now Singapore is
one of Indias largest foreign direct investor. India & Singapore have strategic business relationships to enhance
cooperation in sustainable Smart City development, water and waste management, aviation, education, skills
training, defence, culture and tourism. There will be huge opportunities for both the countries as India transforms
herself in the next decade.

pharmaceuticals, chemical products, machinery and parts, bio technology and research & development.

After U.K.s exit from the European Union; given the close cultural, economic and political ties between U.K. and
India; there is considerable optimism that a bilateral free trade agreement will be signed relatively soon for the
