torfon- We are the Rohingya People. We live in Arakan, western of Rakine State. Since we are
Muslim, the Myanmar government has been refusing to recognise us as one of the ethnics
groups of the country and considered us as stateless entities even though we have been living
in Myanmar for centuries.
phatchieeeeee- We are lack of legal protection and employment opportunities. We are treated
badly from the Buddhists. In 2012, Rohingya people are accused of raping and killing Buddhist
women. Our homes were burned down, people were killed, ten of thousands people were
displaced and had to live in refugee camps. Conflict intensifies, hatred heighten. It was a very
strained and stressful time that we decided to flee. So please, help us.

such as P.M. Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, UNHCR, UNICEF

Agenda today:
- Security and human rights implications for ASEAN and Beyond
- Malaysia calls on ASEAN to review for help in Myanmar over Rohingya
crisis

Wern: Since April 2015, The Rohingya migration has been a concern for
Southeast Asia countries. This crisis is a complex mix resulting ethnic
cleansing and sectarian violence inside Myanmar, illegal and irregular
movement of people in Southeast Asia which lack of coordination in human
rights issues of this magnitudes within the Association of Southeast Asian
Nations members states that we try to approach towards social and
democratic of human rights in this region.
Here, today, the house is welcoming the delegate from UNHCR, UNICEF,
Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand to discuss the topic. The chair may now
yield the floor to the delegate from UNHCR. Next, give the floor to the UNICEF.
Now, give the floor to the delegates of Myanmar. let move on to the delegates of
Thailand. Lastly, to the delegates of Malaysia.
- There any motion rise at this time.
. If there is a this disagreement To what point the delegates of
UNHCR, UNICEF, P.M. (Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar).. rise. Do the delegate
of Myanmar answer your question?
UNHCR is honored to be here, defending the right of our human friends. It is needed
to address and assure that these people have the same equal right as others,
including the freedom of movement and also the work opportunity. Recalling the
fact that people would love to be nature and growing in the place with respect and
love. The UNHCR believes that with the active involvement of the membership, the
ASEAN can together solve this regional problem. The UNHCR strongly condemn
Republic of the Union of Myanmar, for pushing people out regardless of their
humaneness. The UNHCR urges the global community to tolerate the different of
the people. The delegate may now yield the floor to UNICEF, in order to address
about the children of Rohingyas.

Thank you for joining us today at this event. UNICEF is honored to be here. It is said
that a nation's greatness can be judged by the way it treats its children. Nowadays,
children worldwide are suffered from abuse everyday. Not much people aware of them.
They lost their parents from the immigration, they die from no food, they die from war
between countries. Us, the UNICEF would like to defend for childrens rights. The
materials will be used to help provide improved play and recreation opportunities for
Rohingya children and other children staying at these shelters. Some of the children
have been injured by events in Myanmar, the long sea journey to Thailand or being
separated from family members, and giving them opportunities to play will help relieve
some of their stress and fear. UNICEF is confirmed to stay by childrens rights. The
delegate may now yield the floor to the chair.

Myanmar: Rohingya has been a trouble for us for a long time. Firstly, Rakhine aint their land. Our laws
consider the nationality by who living by the year we lost to England for the third time, therefore, Rohingya
has no right to be in Myanmar because they came after the war. Secondly, they cause a problem of
population to Myanmar, the not quality population. In Rakhine there are 3 million people and 1.5 million
people are Rohingya and the rate of population growth are unstoppable. We have to manage those
people. They are the mess to us. Especially, they are Muslim.\ and we are buddhism. Burmese are very
strict with the religion and we honest to our religion. It is a big diversity of us. Moreover, Rohingya prefers
to be in the countries where are Muslim. We see that it is a better opportunity for both us and them to
leave peacefully. They leave to Muslim countries Malaysia, Brunei, or south Thailand. Leave to where the
countries which ready to accept them.
