Check points Visual Inspection

1. Ensure the Permission / Approval for shut down 10. check for name plate

4. Check the tightness of the bolts (body and flange) 13. check for any leaks at the valve handle

8. open the drain valve - downstream for ball vale or
17. check for any cracks- nuts and bolts
downstream for check valve
9. check for leaks in downstream for ball vale or downstream 18. check the valve actuation performance
for check valve
