Assessment Task 5.2 Interview Skills Evaluation Criteria

PART ONE

Overview: In groups of three (1 interviewer, 1 interviewee & 1 observer) you will participate in
a simulated interview session. You must bring three copies of the Interview Skills Evaluation
Criteria Sheet (provided) for you and your group. Following the interview session, you will be
completing a self-assessment and the other two members of your group, as well as your
teacher, will be providing feedback on your performance. You will then scan the three
evaluation sheets and upload them here to Moodle for assessment (save as Your Name-PY-
ISEC).

Prior to interview session:


Bring a current advertisement to class for a potential job in your field
Research the hiring company and be prepared to discuss the organisation if required
Come to the session dressed & prepared appropriately for an interview
NOTE: USE TEMPLATE ATTACHED - Interview Skills Criteria Evaluation. Please ensure
you upload all completed Interview Skills Criteria Evaluation forms into Moodle for
this Assessment

PART TWO

Reflect on your experience during the in-class interview skills activities and answer the
following questions. Your answers should be written from your own personal perspective and in
your own words. Please use complete sentences; correct grammar, punctuation and spelling.
