A LETTER FROM DON
I ve had the privilege of serving on the TMACC Board of Directors since 2009, the
last six years as the Treasurer and a member of the Executive Committee. This has
afforded me the opportunity to work closely with our Executive Director (Tim
Phelps) and his staff, and to appreciate TMACCs efforts to make Chester County a better place
to live, work and play. Areas of focus include improving the countys air quality, reducing traffic
congestion through travel demand management (TDM), providing multimodal transportation
options to communities, and increasing awareness for bicycle and pedestrian safety.
2016 was a year of growth and advancement for TMACC. Weve elected more diverse leaders

promote TDM strategies throughout Chester County.
We are connected to the community now more than ever, thanks to our strong social media presence and communications.
In 2016, TMACC expanded our social media presence by 22%, increased our email list by 28%, and published our
printed quarterly newsletter (see our community page for more information regarding TMACC communications).
2017 already looks like a promising year for TMACC. All of this years signature and foundation events have been
confirmed, we were just signed on as sub-consultants to both a construction project and road study, and our ChescoBus
routes have been improved. With your help, Im excited to see how much more we can accomplish in the upcoming
months.
I would like to thank and recognize both TMACCs outgoing Chair, Chris Williams, and outgoing Vice Chair, Mike
Grigalonis for their efforts on behalf of TMACC. Chris and Mike have dedicated countless hours to advancing this
organization and working with Tim and staff to promote the activities of TMACC. Speaking for the current Executive
Committee, we hope to continue in their footsteps to help grow and improve TMACCs services to Chester County and
the transportation community.
